What She Does: Encouraged by her mother after seeing a TV special on a modeling agency, Kenyan-born, biracial British model, Malaika Firth began her career with fashion at the age of 17. She gained attention from the fashion industry in 2014 when she was booked as the first Black model in almost 20 years to appear in a Prada advertising campaign, being preceded by none other than Naomi Campbell in 1994.

Signature Look: Malaika’s long locks are often left naturally tousled and untouched, leaving her looking youthful and fresh-faced. Her makeup is also minimal and neutral, an obvious contrast from her usual dramatic runway looks.
