You might not have noticed, given everything going on, but it’s spring and summer’s right around the corner. If you happen to be somewhere that’s lifting lockdown restrictions or just feel like getting dressed up just because, we’ve rounded up five cute looks from our fav Instagrammers to inspire you for Spring.

1. Biker shorts and bold color

The biker short trend isn’t going anywhere and @lolaomonaija has us wanting to throw on a pair with some Dr. Martin’s and a brightly-colored oversized shirt.

2. Cut-out dress

If you’re looking for a little elegance with some added ventilation, check out this cut-out dress on Onyi Moss. I can’t tell if it’s salmon or peach. Either way it looks great on her skin and it also comes in teal. You can find it on Gala, which ships world wide.

3. Vintage mini

Here’s Onyi in another gorgeous dress; this time a vintage-inspired mini from Faithful the Brand. This look has us wanting to prance around the French Countryside complete with a huge straw hat. Head’s up, it doesn’t look like Faithful the Brand has that exact dress online anymore, but they do have others.

4. Spring Florals

If you happen to be in an area that’s warm but not that 👆🏾 warm, take a note from Ty Lauren with a pair of ripped jeans and a billowy floral print from H&M.

5. Wil’ Out

And if you happen to be in an area that’s super warm, follow Oriane Adjibi’s lead and just head out in a swimsuit, ‘fro and heels 💪🏾.

Check out these pint-sized rompers on @mamaolivek’s mini-me’s via Nairobi based online shop Max Kidz.

And if you’ve been looking for a new foundation, Paola Mathé of @findingpaola has been using Estée Lauder’s Futurist Hydra Rescue Moisturizing Makeup SPF45 during th lockdown.
