Since this month and next we’re set on inspiring your Best. Summer. Ever., we decided to get vacation and hair inspiration from our favorite boat and beach babes.
So we’re showing a little bias and saved our favorite vacationer for last. What can we say? Resident cool girl, Solange Knowles, knows how to vacation… and take cool pictures of her adventures.
One of our favorite Solange trips was her visit to Senegal last year with her son Juelz, during which she sported thigh-legnth box braids and a straw hat.
Later that year she spent some time in Southold New York—her braids replaced with her ‘fro, paired with a colorful printed one piece.
Stalking her Instagram even more, we found another fabulous appearance of her medium-sized afro. This time she paired it with a more retro look—a high-waist two piece and a funky pair of cat eye sunglasses that just oozed summer.
