Black hair is so versatile and we know you’ve pretty much mastered styling all types of Black hair. What would you say your favorite aspect of Black hair is?
Black hair truly is versatile. I love that you can create so many different styles and there are so many options for different looks, in addition to Black hair coming in a large variety of textures.
We know that a person’s appearance is an extension of who they are and that it’s important to love who you are on the inside and out; what does Pantene’s “Truly You” mantra mean to you?
To me “Truly You” means to be true to yourself, working with what you have and loving it. The truth is always liberating!
What advice would you give to black girls and women about being confident in their hair regardless of texture?
The best piece of advice that I could give to Black girls is to spend time learning what styles work best for you and which products work best to achieve those styles.
