I have two questions:
First, I’m transitioning and I realized I have scabbed hair. How do I care/style this?
Second, I also have a 4C curl pattern and low porosity hair. I do co-wash in the shower daily, which helps with manageability. However, with my low porosity, the only time it’s super beneficial is when I incorporate heat. Are daily deep conditions healthy?
What is truly the best way to refresh my low porosity, 4C hair?
Love you for life,
Dear Danielle M.,
For the scabbing, I recommend you going to see a dermatologist.
You must stop cowashing your hair everyday! You aren’t letting your natural oils fromyour scalp to help your hair; instead you’re drying your hair out. My advice? I would cleanse my hair once a week and if you feel you need to do it more often, then increase to twice weekly.
