Another year, another quickly arriving December and hence another moment to look back at what has happened since the year began. For us at Un’ruly, our year began on Martin Luther King Day when we proclaimed the start of our new era and began realizing our dream. Since then we conversed about love and hate; we shared our goals and adventures, and we explored our history and ways to get a handle on our future. Then of course there was the hair! In a time when mainstream media doesn’t tell our full story, we began telling it–the different colors, textures, lengths and possibilities!
It’s fun to look back because where we’ve been acts as an indicator of where we’re going. Yesterday and today are ingredients for tomorrow. And looking at Un’ruly’s yesterday and today, we’re excited for what’s to come!
