Love the high-top but not willing to chop off all your locks to get the look?  Vlogger LovelyAnneka‘s got you covered.  She’s created this tutorial to show how you can rock a commitment free high-top.

This look is done on natural hair but can also be done on straight hair.  Enjoy.

step-by-step

step 1: Section off the hair into two parts, almost as you would for a half-pony tail.  Place both sections into pony tails and apply gel as needed to create a sleek look.

Step 2: Section the top section into two “sub-sections.”  You’ll now have a total of three sections on your head.

Step 3: Flat Twist one of the top sections forward toward your forehead.

Step 4: Pin curl the end of the twist and secure TEMPORARILY with a bobby pin.  You’ll take out the pin curl in a moment.

Step 5: Repeat on the other side.  Then un-pin the first side and bring the two ends together.
