Last month I checked out the Kith pop up store in Paris with a major sneaker head friend of mine. Kith is a New York based footwear company that, put simply, specializes in dope shoes–the type of shoes that people line up to buy. The shoe everyone was lining up for this time around was a collaboration with Puma, officially called the Ronnie Fieg x Puma Disc Blaze OG “COA” (Coat of Armor).
The sneaker world is a world I’ve loved from afar. I’ve always admired the cool kids that stay at the forefront of that sector of fashion, collecting sneakers like rare coins. But as much as I’ve been intrigued by the world, I was happy to stay on its outskirts and still am. The trip to the store did however introduce me to the lovely Nadia who worked at the pop up. It’s always interesting to see how girls wear sneakers.
Nadia kept her color palette neutral with cuffed high-waste black pants and a black and white striped shirts. Her look was topped off with a below the brow blunt bang and bone straight hair. (Doesn’t she look a bit like CeCe on Fox’s New Girl?)
