I recently met up with the beautiful Aude Bidé, an actress and singer based here in Paris. I first met her in the North of France. She and her beautiful family were so striking I had to get a picture of them. We kept in touch because I thought she’d make the perfect subject for our next film project. We grabbed a café at the Marly by the Louvre at chatted a little bit about hair.
Aude’s dad is Beninoise and her mum is French, so being bi-racial doing her hair was an adventure. She had to learn through trial and error what worked and what didn’t. Now she keeps a pretty simple hair regimen. She washes her hair three times a week (she could wash less, but her curls get frizzy when not moisturized). Of the three times, she only uses shampoo one time, and washes the other two times mainly to moisturize her hair with water and a hair mask.
Products she uses include: L’oreal Garnier Ultra Doux, lots of oils–avocado and argan oil, specifically, Dop Nourishing Hair Cream Shea Butter, and she’s a big fan of the Klorane line of hair products, which uses all natural ingredients.
