There are plenty of places to enjoy views of the Tour Eiffel all over Paris. On a clear day you can even see it (albeit at a distance) from Sacré Coeur. This shot was taken from the top of the Pompidou Museum at their popular and sceney restaurant, Le George.`

In the center of Paris is Place de la Concorde, a bustling square right at the end of Jardin des Tuileries (the garden beside the Louvre). On a clear day you can take in its grandiose statues and even catch a glimpse of the Eiffel Tower.

Pont de l’Archevêché is one of the many bridges on which lovers from all over the world leave their locks of love. But several of these beautiful bridges in Paris are actually being weighed down by those loving mementos and the city has begun cutting many of the locks off.

The Seine divides Paris into two parts–the left and right bank, with the left bank being more like New York’s Upper East side and the right bank being a little more ‘funky.’ In the summer the City turns part of the Seine into “Paris Plage,” a beach within the city. Locals tend to steer clear of the ‘plage’ but it can actually be a pleasurable experience
