We don’t carry an extensive inventory of hair, so clients have to purchase their own. But we’ve created this guide if you need recommendations.

What styles can I book with two braiders?

This service applies to any smedium or small braid or twist style offered on Unruly—traditional box braids, knotless box braids, Senegalese twists, Marley twists, passion twists.

How much faster is it?

Install time depends on the style and your hair type, but having two stylists can cut the time by 30–50%. For example, small braids that might take 8+ hours could take just 4–5 hours.

Is there an additional fee?

Yes, because this service includes two stylists, it’s priced higher than a single-stylist appointment. Final cost depends on the style and braid size—check the booking page for pricing.

Can I request specific stylists?

We’ll match you with two available braiders based on your style and location. If you have a preferred stylist, mention it in your notes during booking and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

Do I need to prep my hair?

Yep, your hair should be clean, dry, and stretched (blown out or detangled) before your appointment. Or you can add a detangle or blow out while booking and the stylist will do it for you.
