Hi! Latanya was amazing! Super professional and did very good work. The only reason I put that I didn’t like my style is because of my own error. I bought hair that I thought we could cut in order to achieve the short bob that I wanted. But Latanya advised me that if we cut this hair into the style that I wanted it really wouldn’t turn out how I hoped. I trusted her obviously because she is an expert in her field and has been doing one of my friends hair for a very long time and it ALWAYS looks on point. Please hear me when I say Latanya was AMAZING! My unhappiness is just my error and stupidity in trying to find the right hair. I just didn’t want the long braids again. But now I know for next time to prepare farther ahead of time ????

I got a crochet weave and I need my styled fixed a bit as I felt like there wasn’t enough attention to give the style a more natural look. I think making sure the style has the most seamless look is really important and I don’t know if I got that.

I was really excited to finally have found a place that makes booking your protective hairstyle easy and comfortable. I wanted to make sure that my hair got all the tlc it needed. My hair stylist was wonderful and so nice, only problem is my hair is very soft. Quite the loose curl and very soft to the touch. I wrote that down specifically too online as I was booking a stylist.
I requested a crochet with my parameter done. When she was finished my hair looked amazing! A stylist she is indeed, but this is what I wished would have gone differently, Yeluchi:
Me notating that my hair is very soft means that I need to be paired with someone that is very confident in locking hair in or adding hair to make my foundation of cornrows and parameter braids stay. My braids on the parameter slipped out immediately, but the hairstylist was so nice to redo it and this time, adding extra hair. It’s better but it’s slipping. What I really have a problem with is that the other day (not even having had my hair done for 3.5 weeks) a row from my cornrows just SLID OUT!! How embarrassing!! I was traveling and just had to make a quick do (with a hair tie *CRINGE*) so my hair wouldn’t fall out in public. I’ve never done my own hair but I’m learning/trying my best since tomorrow I’m to have a photo shoot with this hair. It feels oddly heavy and unbalanced and I just hope it won’t fall out while I’m working. I’m SO disappointed!!! Please check in with your stylists if they understand how to get soft hair to cornrow and hold. Had she felt the texture of my hair and had said my braids would unravel with a parameter, I would have gladly obliged.

I have used Yeluchi in the past and have been happy with the service in the past. When the stylist left – my hair looked good and I was happy with it. I did a quick check shortly after I left and noticed large gaps in the back of head. There was plenty of hair left which she could have used to fill that gap. Today, less than a day after the hair appointment- I discovered that she had not sewed down my braids before crocheting. I noticed this because a crotchet braid came out and then I felt the braid. This style will not last anywhere as long as planned.
