What are roller sets?

A roller set (perm-rod or flexi-rod set) uses cylindrical rollers to shape the hair into curls or waves. Stylists wrap sections of damp hair around rollers, then allow it to dry naturally or under a hooded dryer. Our curler set services are a great way to define your curls however, it does not include drying, taking out the curlers or styling. Your stylist will arrive with all the products needed to set your hair and the service can be booked along with a wash as an add-on.

Can I choose the curl size?

Yes—roller size affects the final curl or wave. Let us know before hand the type of curl or volume you’re going for, and they’ll adjust accordingly. Please Note: You have to provide your own perm rods, flexi rods or rollers for this service, because the curlers will stay with you!

How long does a roller set last?

Typically 3–7 days, depending on your hair type, the weather, and how you maintain it between washes.

Do I need to prep my hair beforehand?

It’s best to start with freshly washed and detangled hair. If you prefer for the stylist to do this, you can book these services as add-ons.

She was prompt fun and let me know what we were doing every step of the way. She also asked if the rollers were too tight and when they were she adjusted them. All in all I would book again.
