    Do I need to buy my own hair?

    We don’t carry an extensive inventory of hair, so clients have to purchase their own. But we’ve created this guide if you need recommendations.

    How long does the install take?

    Timing depends on the size you choose. Jumbo braids may take 2–3 hours, while small braids can take 6–8 hours or more. The thickness of your hair and the speed of the stylist are also important factors.

    How long does the style last?

    Traditional box braids can last 4–8 weeks depending on the size and how well you care for them. Smaller braids generally last longer, while jumbo braids are lower commitment. But we generally recommend keeping protective styles in for four weeks max, to promote a healthy scalp and hair. Learn more here.

    Are small braids heavy?

    Generally, a knotless installation makes them lighter and more comfortable than traditional box braids, but weight depends on how full you get them. If you get small braids with small part, you’re braids will be fuller and thus heavier. If you get small braids with relatively larger parts, they’ll be less full.       Overall I’m happy, the best price for a 3 week style was definitely more than I bargained for. (300). I would definitely use this service again but with a lower price tag or at least a style that will last a month. Please add more options; twist and ability to add tips after the styling.
