Since comedian and actress Maya Rudolph left the long-running comedy sketch series, Saturday Night Live (SNL) six years ago, there has been a huge lack in diversity, especially with regard to African-American female cast members on the show. That all changes when Sasheera Zamata joins the cast on January 18th. Sasheera’s background is in improvisational comedy and is pretty hilarious from what we’ve seen so far. Be sure to tune into the new season when rapper, Drake hosts and performs.

Yes! ELLE Magazine’s Women in TV February issue will be hitting stands soon and we’ll be picking up multiple copies for two BIG reasons! 1) It’s our favorite funny girl, Mindy Kaling’s first major fashion magazine cover (she’s on one of four covers) and reason 2). actress and friend of Un’ruly Xosha Roquemore (Precious, The Mindy Project) is featured inside alongside some of the most talented fresh faces in the biz.
