Question:

Should I be coloring my hair if it’s chemically treated? Are there special dyes for women with chemically treated hair?

Answer:

You can color hair safely if you already have a chemical treatment. Your stylist can use cellophanes and semi/demi-permanent color to achieve certain shades and tones. If you choose to lighten your hair your stylist should only use 10 or 20 volume developer to achieve lift then protein treat hair immediately after followed by a moisturizing masque.
