There’s a change in the air, the leaves are budding, pastel lattes are appearing at our favorite coffee shops, and we’re wrapping up a little less than we did last week. That can only mean one thing, winter is over and spring is upon us. As the warmer seasons approach, you don’t need to put those winter staples away just yet. This is a transition period, so you need layers, just slightly less.

Our Instagram feeds have definitely been getting a little bit lighter, and some of our faves have been embracing the brighter days.

On her trip to Cape Town some time ago, Leslie (@freshlengths) rocked a simple pair of light blue, wide leg jeans with an abstract-patterned top. She pairs this with a pair of white Nike Air Force Ones and simple understated gold jewelry for the perfect spring look.

In her second look, she sports wide leg cargo pants with a hoodie and a Telfar bag. The Air Force Ones–a staple for the spring–make a comeback for this outfit.

It’s easy to fall into the spring color scheme trap and opt for pastels, yellows, greens, and muted tones. As long as you’re wrapped up warm, you can play with as much color as you want. Muhee rocks some beautiful, tailored, high-waisted pants with a fuchsia turtle-neck top and matching lightweight coat. Her beige bag makes a statement but doesn’t take away from the impact of the fuchsia! Spring still brings us some brighter days, so keep those sunglasses in hand.

But if you’re still feeling the somber vibes take your cue from Liv Madeline with her mostly monochromatic look.

We’re loving Karina’s oversized everything look–oversized blazed, big billow pants and the scarf is the best part! It looks SOOOOOO snuggly–it’s a great statement piece, plus it’s practical.

This look is perfect for those warmer, brighter spring days. On a trip to Amsterdam, Sammi pairs a mid-length leopard print skirt with an oversized pink sweater. It’s the clash of the vibrant print and color that works here. The shoes and socks are basic white and don’t distract from the overall vibe of the outfit.

Some of us are still reaching for scarves and coats, so we’re hoping spring really is around the corner. Lois is bringing all the monochromatic vibes with her spring-ready outfit. She’s opted for black, tailored pants, Prada loafers, and a black handbag. This is paired with simple, black sunnies and a matching overcoat and scarf with a pop of white embroidery.

Loafers are certainly a spring staple as we’ve seen a few influencers pairing the shoe with their fits. Shannen is also coming through with a monochromatic look, going for a tailored pair of pants and a simple top with her loafers. This is topped off with a stunning cream trench coat and wide-rimmed sunglasses plus a potent red lip.

Tasha is transitioning with two fabulous looks here. The first is an ode to camo–mini skirt, jacket, and peak cap. A black corset, handbag, and white sneakers pull this together, making it the perfect transitional outfit for those warmer spring days. The second look is a breath of fresh air for a dreary day. Tasha pairs a white maxi skirt and crop top combo with a cream bomber, Y2K-style sunnies, and over-the-top hoops.

Janet shows us how to keep cool as the temperature starts to warm. For this look, she’s wearing a short, white dress along with a pink denim jacket for a splash of color. White cowboy-style boots bring the outfit together and keep the emphasis on the bright jacket.

Which one (or few) of these looks will you be coppin’???
