We’re taking a look at just how versatile Black hair can be this week with ladies who have rocked curly and straight hair. Today, hair guru and vlogger Taren Guy is on our radar. She recently straightened her super sized ‘fro.
On her Instagram she posted:
Thoroughly enjoying this straight hair! …. We can’t lie to ourselves and say that as women in general, we don’t get tired of the same ol same ol… Even when it comes to our beautiful curly/kinky hair… Whether you change it up with braids, weaves, color, new cut, straightening etc… Just make sure you are happy with the choice and rock it! It’s not that deep if YOU aren’t deeply affected.. Remember that!
Her hair was straightened by stylist Jennifer Rose from Belissimo Hair Spa in New York City.
About a week later Taren posted with the picture below:
So this happened today cause the rain washed my straight away…. Not complaining though! So glad my curls bounced back! @jenniferrosenyc did an awesome job with being careful when straightening my hair.. #ClientForLife #NoHeatDamage #NaturalHair
