Question: Which hair oils are best suited for cold weather?
Answer:
Heavier oils should be your go-to during the winter because of the dryer, cooler air. Opt for olive, castor, jojoba, argon, or avocado oils and butters instead of the coveted coconut or grapeseed that may be too light for the harsh winter air. One of the best ways to ensure that you keep your hair moisturized is to apply these heavier oils/butters to damp hair, to ensure that it doesn’t just sit on the hair surface but actually penetrates the cuticle.
