Un’ruly is growing fast! In just one year we’ve made a big splash in the Black beauty world and have a lot planned for our second year. We’re currently looking for an editorial intern to help develop and execute our 2014 editorial plans.
This position is good for someone who…
- has a strong interest in the beauty and hair category
- has a strong interest in the Internet and is highly tech savvy
- has a strong interest in content publishing and would like to learn the in’s and out’s of running a media outlet
- is looking for a position and experience that will really bolster their resume and skill set
- is interested in utilizing both a business and creative skill set (thinking analytically and creatively)
Responsibilities include but aren’t limited to…
- contributing to the development of editorial calendars
- helping identify and candidates to be featured in our content
- assisting in analyzing the competitive landscape (editorially)
- assisting in managing editorial contributions
We’re looking for someone who...
- has SUPERB writing skills
- has great verbal and written communication skills
- has some proficiency with photo editing tools
- has a good aesthetic eye
- pays close attention to detail
- is a fast learner and can work independently
- can manage his/her own time and is very organized
- can execute assignments on time
Requirements…
- 16-24 hours/week, the majority of which will be work done REMOTELY
- Is available for a minimum of 6 months
- Must have own laptop and a smart phone
